Born from the mind of Jo Nesbø, Occupied tells of an imaginary time in the near future in which Russia, with the support of the European Union, occupies Norway in response to an energy crisis caused by the Norwegian Environmental Party, which has stopped oil production and country’s gas. The series imagines what happens to a nation under occupation when life on the surface seems unchanged. What will the citizens do? Will they dare to rebel?
